01 / The Situation

When water gets in, the clock starts.

The sooner it's dried, the more of your home we save — and the less it costs.

Water doesn't stay where you can see it. Within 24 to 48 hours, moisture wicks into drywall, subfloor, and framing — and mold starts to grow. Left alone, a small leak can quietly turn into a full teardown.

Interior Restorations is a licensed, IICRC-certified general contractor serving all of Orange County. We don't just suck up the water and leave — we dry the structure to a verified standard, treat for mold, and then rebuild everything back better than before, working directly with your insurance from start to finish. One crew, one point of contact, from the first moisture reading to the final coat of paint.

· Common Questions

Water damage FAQs.

Still not sure? Call or text (949) 283-3952 — we're happy to talk it through.
How fast should I act after water damage?+
As soon as you can. Mold can begin to grow within 24 to 48 hours, and the longer water sits, the more of your drywall, flooring, and framing has to be replaced. The sooner we extract and dry, the more of your home we save — and the lower the cost.
Do you work with my insurance?+
Yes. We document the damage with photos and moisture readings, work directly with your insurance adjuster, and bill the claim — so you stay out of the paperwork.
Do you just dry it, or repair the damage too?+
Both. As a licensed general contractor we handle the full job — water extraction and drying, then the rebuild: drywall, flooring, paint, and finish work. You won't need a second contractor.
What if there's already mold?+
We're equipped for that. If we find mold during the job, our IICRC-certified team safely removes it and treats the area before rebuilding. Learn more about mold remediation.
Will I have to move out during the work?+
Usually not. We contain the affected area and keep the rest of your home livable. For larger losses we'll walk you through the timeline up front so there are no surprises.
How much does water damage restoration cost?+
It depends on how much water, where it spread, and what needs rebuilding — which is why we start with a free, detailed, honest estimate. If it's an insurance claim, we work from your adjuster's scope. Call or text (949) 283-3952 to get started.
