01 / The Situation

Mold isn't a cleaning problem.

Wipe it away and it comes right back — because the moisture feeding it is still there.

Mold needs three things to grow: moisture, a food source, and time. By the time you can see or smell it, it's usually growing somewhere you can't — inside walls, under flooring, or in the attic. Bleach and a sponge don't fix that. Disturbing it the wrong way actually spreads spores through the air.

Interior Restorations is a licensed, IICRC-certified general contractor serving all of Orange County. We find where the mold is and what's feeding it, contain the area so spores don't spread, remove it safely, and then fix the moisture source and rebuild — so it's gone for good, not just out of sight. Protecting your family's health and your home's value, with your insurance handled.

02 / What We Handle

Every kind of mold.

Residential and commercial — visible or hidden, surface or structural.

Black Mold (Stachybotrys)

The toxic stuff. Removed safely with full containment and protective gear — never DIY.

Bathroom & Shower Mold

Behind tile, in grout, and inside walls where steam and leaks let it thrive.

Attic & Crawlspace Mold

Poor ventilation and roof leaks breed mold in the spaces you never look.

Hidden & In-Wall Mold

That musty smell with nothing visible? We find it inside walls, ceilings, and subfloors.

Mold After Water Damage

A leak or flood that wasn't fully dried is the #1 cause. We treat the mold and the source.

Musty Odor & Air Quality

If it smells like mold, there's mold. We locate it and clear the air, not just mask it.

· Common Questions

Mold remediation FAQs.

Still not sure? Call or text (949) 283-3952 — we're happy to talk it through.
Is mold dangerous to my health?+
It can be. Mold can trigger allergies, asthma, and respiratory issues, and some types (like black mold) are more harmful. If you're seeing mold or smelling a musty odor, it's worth having it looked at — especially with kids, older adults, or anyone with breathing issues at home.
Can't I just clean it with bleach?+
Surface cleaning doesn't fix mold — it usually grows back because the moisture source is still there, and scrubbing can release spores into the air. Proper remediation means containing the area, removing affected material safely, and fixing what's feeding it.
Do you find the source, or just remove what's visible?+
We find the source. Mold is a moisture problem, so we track down the leak, condensation, or drainage issue feeding it — then remove the mold and repair the cause so it doesn't return.
Will the mold come back?+
Not if the moisture is fixed. Because we're a full general contractor, we repair the leak or moisture issue and rebuild — that's the difference between a temporary fix and a permanent one.
Do you work with my insurance?+
Yes. If your mold came from a covered water loss, we document it, work with your adjuster, and bill the claim. We'll let you know up front what's likely to be covered.
Do you handle the water damage too?+
Absolutely — mold and water damage go hand in hand. See our water damage restoration, all handled by the same licensed crew.
