01 / The Room That Sells Homes

Your kitchen, rebuilt around how you live.

The highest-return remodel in the house — done by the crew that also does the plumbing and wiring behind it.

The kitchen is the one room buyers judge and families actually live in — which is exactly why it's the remodel with the highest return and the least room for shortcuts. A great kitchen isn't just new doors on old boxes; it's the layout, the workflow, the light, and everything behind the walls working together.

Interior Restorations is a licensed general contractor serving all of Orange County, and we build kitchens end to end — cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, plus the plumbing, gas, and electrical that most "kitchen companies" have to sub out. One crew, one bid, one point of contact. Because we also rebuild homes after water and fire, we know how to open a wall, fix what we find, and close it back up right. It's part of our full remodeling & additions work — kitchens are just where most people start.

· Common Questions

Kitchen remodeling FAQs.

Still not sure? Call or text (949) 283-3952 — we're happy to talk it through.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Orange County?+
It depends on size, layout changes, and finishes — a cabinet-and-counter refresh is very different from moving walls and relocating plumbing. After we walk your kitchen we give you a detailed, honest bid so you know the real number before anything starts, with no surprise change orders.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?+
Most kitchens run several weeks to a couple of months depending on scope and how long custom cabinets take to arrive. We give you a realistic timeline up front and keep one crew on the job so it doesn't stall waiting on subs.
Can you move walls or open up the kitchen?+
Yes. Open-concept layouts are some of our most-requested work. As a licensed general contractor we handle removing walls (including load-bearing, with proper engineering and permits), rerouting plumbing and electrical, and finishing it all seamlessly.
Do you supply the cabinets and countertops?+
Yes — we handle selections with you, from semi-custom to fully custom cabinets and quartz, granite, or quartzite counters. You get to choose the finishes; we handle sourcing, templating, and installation.
Do I need permits for a kitchen remodel?+
If you're moving plumbing, gas, electrical, or walls, yes — and we pull every permit your city requires and manage the inspections as part of the job. A pure cosmetic swap may not, and we'll tell you honestly which camp yours falls in.
Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?+
Usually not the kitchen itself while it's torn out, but we work fast and clean, seal off the work area to control dust, and can help you set up a temporary kitchen so daily life keeps moving.
